Oelwein, Fayette County, IA – Authorities in northeast Iowa say five people are facing drug-related charges following a late-night arrest and search warrant execution in Oelwein on Saturday.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy arrested Nathaniel Jeffery Rohrick, 33, of Oelwein, at approximately 9:38 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, on an active warrant for failure to appear. During the arrest, deputies also arrested Joshua Paul Wieland, 46, of Oelwein, for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), first offense.

Deputies later executed a search warrant around 11:14 p.m. at a residence in the 700 block of 72nd Street NW in Oelwein. During the search, investigators allegedly discovered that Rohrick was also in violation of an active no-contact order.

Rohrick is now being charged with possession of methamphetamine, first offense, and violation of a no-contact order, according to the sheriff’s office.

Four additional individuals were charged following the search. Alanda Nevelle Starkey, 41, of Oelwein, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense (felony). Jeffery Robin Rohrick, 59, of Oelwein, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense (felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Tashena Lari Boudreau, 39, of Oelwein, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, first offense.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are pending. The Iowa State Patrol assisted deputies during the incident.
