Authorities said Eric William Halverson, 59, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, second offense – methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance, second offense – marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and violation of a no-contact order – contempt. All charges are allegations at this stage.
Deputies also arrested Janel Kay Helfter, 50, of Fayette, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order – contempt, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators noted the search warrant was the second narcotics-related warrant executed at Halverson’s residence within the past month. On November 27, 2025, Halverson was allegedly arrested on similar charges, including second-offense possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
