Fatal Workplace Incident: Pennsylvania Man Killed at Recycling Plant

Auburn, PA – A man was killed in a tragic forklift accident at a Schuylkill County recycling plant on Tuesday, authorities confirmed.

On Tuesday, August 14, 2024, at approximately 4:19 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police responded to a call from Coogle’s Recycling, located at 800 Market Street in Auburn. Upon arrival, troopers discovered that a worker had been fatally injured in a work-related accident involving a forklift.

The victim has been identified as Pedro Morales, 57, of Collegville, Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities have ruled the death accidental, although an investigation into the circumstances is still ongoing.
