St. Rose, LA – A single-vehicle crash on Wednesday claimed the life of 39-year-old Chantell Narcisse in St. Charles Parish. The accident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on LA 48 (River Road) near West Pin Oak Drive.

According to Louisiana State Police Troop B, Narcisse was driving east when her 2013 GMC Acadia veered off the road. The vehicle struck a tree before crashing into a brick wall. Narcisse, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Toxicology samples have been collected and submitted for analysis.
