NEW LENOX, Ill. – A fatal accident shook New Lenox as a driver lost control of their vehicle, which went plummeting over an I-80 ramp, rolling multiple times.
According to Illinois State Police it happened Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. at Interstate 355 and Interstate 80 junction. The car’s lone occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the victim has not been released. An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
