Bloomington, Illinois – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 74 eastbound near milepost 134 has resulted in one fatality, according to Illinois State Police Troop 5.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area as emergency services, including the Bloomington Fire Department’s Haz Mat team, Bloomington Police Department, and McLean County Sheriff’s Office, are present at the scene.
The McLean County Coroner’s Office has been notified and is responding to the incident. Identification of the deceased and notification of next of kin are currently pending.
