Dorchester, N.H. – A fatal motorcycle crash occurred Saturday evening on Route 118 in Dorchester. State Troopers from the Troop F barracks responded to the incident at approximately 5:07 p.m.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a motorcycle traveling eastbound failed to negotiate a turn. The motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle in the opposite lane.
The passenger, identified as 23-year-old Madeline Tredo of Meredith, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
State Police, with assistance from Canaan Police Department, Rumney Fire Department, and other local agencies, assessed the scene and provided care. Route 118 was closed for several hours while investigators, including the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit, worked on the scene.
