Normal, IL – A single-vehicle crash near the intersection of College Avenue and Veterans Parkway left one person dead early Tuesday.
Normal Police responded at 8:45 a.m. to reports of a crash involving injuries. Upon arrival, officers discovered a lone vehicle with one unconscious male inside. Emergency responders, including the Normal Fire Department, provided immediate aid.
According to the Normal Police Department, the man was pronounced dead at the scene by the McLean County Coroner’s Office. The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending family notification.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. Police have not disclosed any potential causes or additional details but plan to release updates as they become available.
