Fatal Crash in White County, Indiana Claims One at CR 100 S and ST RD 43

White County, IN – A fatal accident occurred in White County on Friday evening, resulting in one death. The collision took place at approximately 7:11 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 100 South and State Road 43, just south of Reynolds.

Sheriff Bill Brooks reported that a blue Honda passenger car failed to stop at the CR 100 S stop sign. As the Honda entered the intersection, a southbound white pickup truck towing a trailer on ST RD 43 struck it. The impact was severe, and the Honda sustained extensive damage. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased driver.

Sheriff’s deputies responded quickly and secured the area for investigation. According to initial findings, the Honda’s driver likely missed the stop sign, leading to the collision. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
