FAIRFIELD, Maine — The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Fairfield residents following the execution of a search warrant on November 14, 2025, as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug activity in Somerset County. The warrant, issued for both a motor vehicle and residence on Burrill Street, was served shortly after noon by Sheriff’s Office detectives, Waterville Police detectives, and Fairfield Police personnel. During the search, investigators recovered a small amount of crack cocaine, drug-related paraphernalia, illegal documentation, a 9mm pistol, and a loaded 9mm magazine.

Corey J. Schutz, 31, of Fairfield, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person (Class C). His bail was set at $500, and he is scheduled to appear in Somerset County Unified Criminal Court on April 8, 2026.

Kimberley Landry, 25, also of Fairfield, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs (Class D) and is scheduled for her initial court appearance on March 4, 2026.
