According to Sheriff Alex Lape, deputies responded to multiple thefts in Pickerington and Canal Winchester, including stolen vehicles and vandalism reports. Among the incidents, a 2020 Orange Dodge Charger was reported stolen from Rossmore Lane in Canal Winchester on October 26.

On October 24, deputies arrested a 27-year-old Pickerington man during a traffic stop on Refugee Road for violating a protection order. Earlier in the week, another arrest occurred in Canal Winchester during a traffic stop on Winchester Boulevard, where a 46-year-old man was taken into custody for two outstanding warrants.

Reports also noted property recoveries in Amanda and Canal Winchester, several vandalism cases in Pickerington and Carroll, and assistance calls in Bremen and Amanda involving individuals transported for medical evaluation.

Throughout the week, deputies logged a total of 17 motor vehicle accident reports across the county, with multiple responses in Lancaster, Pickerington, and Canal Winchester.
