According to the National Weather Service, the Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tonight, wind chills could dip to as low as 30 below in some areas. Minimal relief is expected during the day Wednesday, with highs near 18°F but wind chills staying well below zero.
Light lake-effect snow showers are expected Tuesday night into Wednesday, with accumulations under one inch. Visibility could be reduced at times along I-69 and surrounding roadways. Drivers should plan for slower travel and keep emergency kits in vehicles.
Looking ahead, Thursday will bring a slight warm-up, with highs reaching the mid-20s, but gusty winds may persist. Friday promises clearer skies and temperatures climbing closer to 30°F, providing much-needed relief.
