Pittsburgh, PA – Rain showers have exited the region, leaving behind remnant moisture and calm winds that are contributing to fog formation across Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Commuters are advised to exercise caution as visibility may be reduced in the early morning hours.

According to the US National Weather Service Pittsburgh, the fog is expected to linger into the morning commute but will likely dissipate by mid-morning. Drivers should be mindful of rapidly changing conditions and follow safety protocols such as using fog lights and reducing speed.

The forecast for the upcoming days looks favorable. Today, the high will reach 82°F under partly cloudy skies. As we move into the weekend, temperatures will remain pleasant with highs of 83°F on Friday and 84°F on Saturday, both days featuring mostly sunny conditions. Sunday continues this trend with a high of 86°F and partly cloudy skies.

Next week, however, brings a shift with a chance of rain re-entering the forecast. Monday will remain dry with a high of 87°F, but by Tuesday, there is a 35% chance of showers with temperatures peaking at 85°F. Wednesday shows a higher probability of rain at 45% and a high of 81°F. The unsettled weather persists into Thursday with a 35% chance of rain and a high of 79°F.
