Phoenix, AZ – An excessive heat warning is in effect for Phoenix through Tuesday at 8 p.m., with temperatures expected to reach a scorching 107°F on Monday. The National Weather Service warns residents to take precautions as the extreme heat could be dangerous for those outdoors or without proper hydration.

Monday night will remain warm, with a low near 78°F, and Tuesday’s high will again approach 105°F. Winds will be calm, but temperatures will stay intense. Overnight lows on Tuesday will hover around 77°F.

Wednesday and Thursday will offer some relief, with highs dipping slightly to 103°F and sunny skies continuing. Lows will remain in the mid-70s throughout the week. Friday’s high will again approach 103°F, before a slight cool-off into the weekend.

Residents are urged to limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours and ensure they stay hydrated. Those traveling on I-17 or I-10 should be mindful of the extreme temperatures, which can impact vehicle performance and tire pressure.
