Everett, WA – Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects involved in a Halloween night hit-and-run that left one man seriously injured.

According to investigators, the incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. Friday, October 31 in the 11300 block of 58th Avenue SE. Deputies say a dark red Ford F-150, believed to be a 2015 model or newer, struck a 47-year-old pedestrian before fleeing the scene.

Witnesses told deputies the truck’s occupants—some wearing masks—had been driving through a residential neighborhood and allegedly stealing bowls of candy left on porches. When the victim stepped into the road, the truck reportedly nudged him before accelerating and running him over.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. A second adult who tried to intervene was dragged a short distance by the truck, suffering minor injuries, according to authorities.

Detectives say the suspect vehicle may not show obvious damage and are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.

This case remains under active investigation.
