Quad Cities, IA/IL – Reports of funnel clouds have been received west of Washington, IA. Conditions are favorable for isolated funnel clouds with rain showers in southeast Iowa, northeast Missouri, and west central Illinois through 7 PM. These funnel clouds are higher up in the sky and are not anticipated to reach the ground.

According to the US National Weather Service Quad Cities, the situation is being closely monitored. Although these funnel clouds are not expected to touch down, the NWS is prepared to issue a Tornado Warning if the threat increases. The primary concern is isolated funnel clouds forming in conjunction with rain showers this evening.
