Grand Forks, ND – North Dakota residents should brace for a mixed weather pattern today, with partly to mostly sunny skies giving way to potential thunderstorms in the evening. The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a forecast predicting smoky conditions across the region, accompanied by highs in the mid-80s.

According to the National Weather Service, the area will experience highs between 82 and 85 degrees. Smoke from distant wildfires will affect air quality, causing hazy skies throughout the day. The possibility of afternoon and evening thunderstorms adds another layer of complexity to the weather, with residents advised to stay updated on changing conditions.

The week ahead offers a variety of weather changes. On Monday, there is a 40% chance of rain with temperatures reaching 82 degrees. Tuesday will see partly cloudy skies and a high of 78 degrees. Clear and sunny conditions are expected midweek, with highs of 80 degrees on Wednesday and 87 degrees on Thursday. By Friday, temperatures will rise further to 88 degrees with mostly clear skies.
