A broken line of storms is advancing eastward across the Quad State area this morning, while training storms are entering the Jackson Purchase region from Northwest Tennessee. These storms could bring strong to severe weather and isolated flooding issues throughout the morning.

According to the US National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky, damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning are among the potential hazards. The service advises monitoring local weather updates for the latest watches and warnings.

The current temperature in Evansville stands at 73°F, with cloudy skies prevailing. The forecast indicates partly cloudy conditions from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by mostly sunny skies by 5 p.m. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 87°F and a low of 71°F today.

Looking ahead, the weather in Evansville will see a mix of conditions. Saturday and Sunday promise clear skies with highs of 85°F and 88°F, respectively. Monday will be notably warmer with a high of 92°F. By Tuesday, temperatures will drop slightly to 86°F under partly cloudy skies, and Wednesday may see rain showers with a high of 83°F.
