Ray Brook, NY – Families across the Adirondack region have two chances to celebrate the holiday season this week as New York State Police Troop B hosts a pair of community-focused events: free photos with Santa in Ray Brook and a Stuff-A-Cruiser donation drive in Plattsburgh.

According to the New York State Police, the first event—Photos with Santa—takes place Thursday, December 11, from 4–7 p.m. at the NYSP Troop B Headquarters, located at 1097 State Route 86 in Ray Brook. Parents are encouraged to bring a cellphone or camera to capture their own free photos during the visit. Troopers say the event provides a relaxed opportunity for families to meet local officers and enjoy a holiday moment together.

The following day, Troop B will host its annual Stuff-A-Cruiser donation drive on Friday, December 12, from 4–7 p.m. at the Plattsburgh Walmart and Target locations. According to NYSP, the public is invited to help fill patrol vehicles with donations of clothing, toys, or non-perishable food items. All contributions will support individuals and families in need throughout the North Country this holiday season.

Officials credited community partnerships for making the events possible and shared appreciation for residents who participate each year.

“We can’t wait to celebrate the holidays with everyone who attends,” the agency wrote in its announcement.

Residents who plan to stop by are encouraged to share the flyers with friends and neighbors to boost turnout.
