Cleveland, Ohio – Northern Ohio is heading into a warm weekend, with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 80s Saturday before a chance of storms develops by evening. Overnight lows tonight will dip into the 60s, providing a mild start before the heat builds.

According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, highs will range from 84 to 90 degrees Saturday afternoon, with the warmest readings in northwest Ohio. Storm chances begin late Saturday evening in northwest Ohio, spreading east into northern Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania before midnight.

Cities including Toledo, Sandusky, Cleveland, and Youngstown could see brief downpours and gusty winds if storms develop. Drivers should be alert for reduced visibility in heavier rain, and outdoor plans may need to be adjusted late in the day.

Temperatures will remain warm into the evening hours, meaning little relief from the heat before storms arrive. The NWS advises monitoring updates for any thunderstorm watches or warnings.
