Elmhurst, IL – A Hillside man faces charges after allegedly assaulting a rideshare driver during a trip on Saturday.

Elmhurst Police responded at 1:43 p.m. to a gas station at 217 E. Butterfield Road. Officers met the victim, who said he was driving for a rideshare service and had picked up a passenger in Oak Brook. The suspect, identified as Darius D.
