Elmhurst, IL – 28th Annual Art in Wilder Park to Feature 130+ Exhibitors and Monumental Sculptures by Bernard Williams

Elmhurst, IL – Elmhurst’s 28th Annual Art in Wilder Park is set to return this May, featuring an exciting lineup of over 130 exhibitors showcasing unique artwork, jewelry, ceramics, and more. A key highlight of this year’s festival will be the presentation of CROSSINGS, a solo exhibition by renowned Chicago-based artist Bernard Williams.

Taking place on May 3-4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event promises to bring together local artists, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. This free-to-the-public festival, hosted by the Elmhurst Art Museum in partnership with the Elmhurst Park District, will be located at 175 S. Cottage Hill Avenue.

According to the Elmhurst Art Museum, this year’s event is expected to attract more than 8,000 visitors. In addition to a wide variety of artworks, attendees can explore sculptures, paintings, fiber arts, and culinary delights. Notable pieces featured in the CROSSINGS exhibition include monumental sculptures such as a NASCAR race car, an airplane, and a tractor, each symbolizing key moments in the history of Black achievements in transportation and agriculture.

A mix of activities will keep families entertained, including a designated Kids Court with interactive events hosted by local organizations such as the Elmhurst Public Library, School of Rock Elmhurst, and the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild. Festival-goers will also enjoy delicious food offerings from a variety of local vendors like Kilwins Elmhurst, Smilin’ Dogs Food Truck, and Brewpoint Coffee.
