Elkhorn, Wisconsin – A 62-year-old woman was found dead after a reported fight inside a Lafayette residence Saturday night.

According to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 7:31 p.m. Saturday to W4708 Pine Court in the Town of Lafayette after receiving a 911 call reporting a disturbance. The call was disconnected, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.

Upon arrival, deputies located two adult males inside the home who were allegedly fighting and had apparent injuries. Authorities separated and detained the individuals. Additional assistance was provided by the Elkhorn Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

During a search of the residence, deputies located a white female, age 62, unconscious in a bedroom. Life-saving measures were performed by deputies and Elkhorn Area Ambulance personnel. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two male subjects were transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
