Menomonie, WI – A 41-year-old Eau Claire man has been charged with multiple methamphetamine trafficking offenses following an investigation led by local and federal authorities.

According to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, Jason Bloedow was indicted on charges of distributing methamphetamine, possessing meth with intent to distribute, and maintaining a drug-involved residence. Prosecutors allege Bloedow sold meth on March 19 and April 15, 2025, in quantities of 50 grams or more. He is also accused of possessing more than 500 grams for distribution on April 25, 2025.

If convicted of possessing 500 grams or more, Bloedow faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in federal prison and a possible life sentence. Charges involving 50 grams or more carry a minimum five-year term and up to 40 years. The distribution count could add up to 20 years, while the drug premises charge carries a maximum of 10 years, according to prosecutors.

The investigation was conducted by the West Central Drug Task Force with assistance from the Dunn County and Chippewa County Sheriff’s Offices, Eau Claire County District Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
