With mostly clear skies Friday night and a low around 45°F, the region begins a steady warm-up heading into the holiday weekend.
Saturday brings a high near 79°F and full sun, followed by a mild Saturday night low around 51°F. No rainfall is expected through Monday, making it one of the driest Memorial Day weekends in recent years for Umatilla County.
Sunday’s high is forecast to reach 87°F under clear skies. Residents and travelers are urged to hydrate and limit outdoor exposure during peak afternoon hours, especially along U.S. Highway 395 and other sun-exposed routes.
