According to the National Weather Service in Pendleton, Sunday’s highs may reach 105°F in cities like Hermiston, Yakima, and the Tri-Cities. The warning covers the Eastern Columbia River Gorge, Kittitas and Yakima Valleys, Foothills of the Blue Mountains, and the Lower Columbia Basin—impacting communities from Boardman and The Dalles to Walla Walla and Ellensburg.
