Tulsa, OK – A cool but brief stretch of fall weather is underway across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with temperatures expected to rebound sharply next week, according to the National Weather Service in Tulsa.

Forecasters say highs will stay in the 50s through Sunday, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. A few light showers are possible today, mainly across northeast Oklahoma and the Fort Smith area, but rainfall will be minimal and short-lived, with only 20–40% coverage.

By Monday, the pattern shifts as above-normal temperatures return, bringing highs in the 70s through much of the week. Dry weather will dominate across the region from Sunday afternoon onward, with no major systems expected through at least next weekend.

The Weather Service highlights that this early-November warm-up will make for ideal outdoor conditions after a chilly start to the month.

Residents can expect mostly sunny skies and calm weather by midweek, with no significant rain chances on the horizon.
