Pittsburgh, PA – Residents across western Pennsylvania can expect another dry and warm day Monday, with temperatures climbing into the low to mid-80s in most areas, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters reported that highs will reach the mid-80s in lower-elevation cities such as Pittsburgh, Washington, and Wheeling, while higher-elevation areas including Terra Alta, WV, and Davis, WV, will remain cooler in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. The forecast, issued early Monday morning, calls for mostly sunny skies and light winds.
According to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh office, cities including Zanesville, Cambridge, and New Philadelphia, OH, could see the warmest conditions, with highs near 87 degrees. In contrast, mountain communities like Davis may stay closer to 72 degrees.
The stable weather pattern will provide favorable travel conditions across western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and eastern Ohio, with no rain expected. Commuters and outdoor workers, however, are advised to prepare for afternoon heat, especially in urban and lowland areas where highs will approach 85 degrees.
The National Weather Service will continue to provide daily updates as temperatures stay seasonably warm across the tri-state area.
