Jackson, KY – Eastern Kentucky residents can expect dry and warm days, but the evenings will bring cooler temperatures and patchy fog through Friday night. With daytime highs reaching the mid-to-upper 70s, now is the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities, but prepare for chilly nighttime lows in the 40s.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Jackson, patchy fog will develop tonight, particularly along highways such as KY-15 and KY-52, reducing visibility for motorists. Residents should exercise caution during early morning commutes. On Wednesday, sunny and warm conditions will continue, with highs ranging between 75 and 80 degrees. However, overnight lows are expected to dip into the upper 30s to low 40s, so it’s advised to bring extra layers if planning any evening outdoor activities.

Thursday will bring more of the same, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, providing another pleasant day. Thursday night, clear skies will bring temperatures back down to the 30s, and residents should plan accordingly.

Looking ahead, a cold front will move into the region late Friday, bringing a chance of showers and dropping temperatures significantly by Saturday. Those with weekend plans should stay updated on the latest forecast and be prepared for potentially wet and cooler conditions.
