High pressure currently located to the east is responsible for maintaining seasonably cool temperatures today. Expect morning fog and highs between 77°F and 81°F. By Friday, warmer air from the southwest will push temperatures into the mid-80s.
According to the National Weather Service, highs will range from 82°F to 87°F Friday, with mostly sunny skies. Saturday will see further warming, with highs expected to climb between 84°F and 89°F. Sunday marks the beginning of a significant warmup, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to low 90s.
The heat will peak early next week, with Monday’s temperatures ranging from 89°F to 93°F. The dry weather will continue as the high-pressure system dominates. Residents can expect sunny skies throughout the weekend, with early morning fog dissipating quickly. This forecast suggests a period of unseasonably warm weather for late August, with conditions remaining dry and warm through at least Tuesday.
