Eastern Iowa Weather: Pleasant, Followed by Early Week Thunderstorms

Davenport, IA – Eastern Iowa is set to experience a mix of pleasant and stormy weather over the next several days. The weekend will start with nice, dry conditions before humidity and thunderstorms make a return early next week.

According to the US National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, Friday and Saturday will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures ranging from 77°F to 81°F. Residents can expect ideal outdoor conditions throughout the first half of the weekend.

On Sunday, however, the weather will begin to shift. The forecast indicates a rise in humidity along with the risk of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Highs will range between 78°F and 82°F, with rain chances estimated at 20-30%.

The pattern will continue into Monday, which will be partly sunny but more humid, accompanied by a higher probability of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures are expected to reach 80°F to 83°F, with rain chances increasing to 20-40%.

Davenport’s detailed forecast mirrors this pattern, with clear skies and temperatures around 80°F on Friday and Saturday. Sunday will see a rise in humidity and a high of 82°F. Monday’s forecast includes a 30% chance of showers and a high of 84°F, continuing into Tuesday with a 35% chance of rain.
