LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Southern Californians are waking to another crisp, bright start Friday, with East L.A. poised for a perfect October weekend before a modest change in the forecast early next week. Warm sunshine and light winds will dominate through Sunday, making for ideal outdoor conditions across Los Angeles County, from Echo Park to Pasadena.

According to the National Weather Service in Oxnard, temperatures will climb into the upper 70s by Saturday and Sunday under mostly clear skies. Winds will remain gentle, between 5 and 10 mph, before shifting southwest by late Sunday. Drivers using I-10 and the 60 Freeway should experience dry roads and clear visibility, though early morning fog pockets may form in inland valleys.

Residents planning pumpkin patch visits or park outings should take advantage of the mild weekend before clouds return Monday. A weak system moving inland could bring a few light showers Monday night into Tuesday, cooling daytime highs back to the lower 70s.

Outdoor events, fall markets, and family activities will find excellent conditions through Sunday afternoon. No weather advisories are in effect, but forecasters advise keeping an eye on updates as the early-week system approaches.

Five-Day Forecast for East L.A., Calif.:
Friday: Mostly sunny, high near 81°F. Light southwest winds.

Sunday: Sunny and clear, high near 78°F.
Monday: Partly sunny, high near 72°F. Slight chance of showers late.
