East Liverpool, Ohio — A woman was arrested Friday after a drug task force search uncovered suspected cocaine, cash and trafficking materials in East Liverpool.

According to the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Brian McLaughlin and the Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Friday, March 6, at a residence in the 1100 block of St. George Street.

Authorities said Nicole Moman was located on the front porch of the residence with suspected crack cocaine on her person when deputies and officers arrived to serve the warrant.

Investigators then conducted a search of the home.

During the search, law enforcement officers reportedly located approximately 80 grams of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine, along with $25,297 in cash. Officials also said they seized digital scales and packaging materials, items commonly associated with alleged drug trafficking operations.

Photos released by investigators appear to show stacks of cash, plastic bags containing suspected narcotics, and a digital scale collected as evidence during the operation.

The Columbiana County Drug Task Force said multiple agencies assisted with the investigation and search warrant execution, including the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office, Salem Police Department, East Liverpool Police Department, Lisbon Police Department, Columbiana Police Department, Liverpool Township Police Department, Wellsville Police Department, and Ohio Adult Parole.

Authorities have not yet released additional details about potential charges or court proceedings.

Drug task force investigations often focus on suspected distribution networks and evidence tied to trafficking activity, officials said.

The arrest may be particularly relevant to young workers and commuters in the area, as enforcement actions often target drug activity near residential neighborhoods.

The investigation remains ongoing.
