East L.A., CA – A foggy Tuesday morning may complicate early commutes across East Los Angeles as spring conditions slowly warm the region. Drivers should prepare for reduced visibility on key roadways like Interstate 5 before sunshine and highs in the low 80s arrive later in the day.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy fog is expected to form after 11 p.m. Monday night and linger into midmorning Tuesday. Conditions will remain mostly cloudy early, then gradually clear as temperatures climb to a high near 81°F. Winds will stay light, becoming west-southwest at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Residents are advised to allow extra travel time Tuesday morning and use low beams while driving in fog. The fog will likely dissipate by late morning, making way for clear skies and pleasant spring weather throughout the afternoon.

Looking ahead, Wednesday’s weather continues the trend with morning fog followed by a high near 72°F. Similar patterns persist through Thursday and Friday, with patchy morning fog giving way to mostly sunny skies and highs hovering around 70°F. Nighttime lows will remain in the low-to-mid 50s.

By the weekend, East L.A. should see more stable spring conditions. Saturday brings mostly sunny skies and a high near 70°F, with partly cloudy conditions returning Sunday and highs in the upper 60s.

As the region settles into early spring, residents should remain alert for fog advisories, particularly during morning commutes. Warmer temperatures and clearer skies are expected to dominate the week ahead.
