Orlando, FL – A stretch of dry, warm weather will blanket East Central Florida through Thursday, bringing rising temperatures and heightened concerns over fire weather and rip currents across the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, daily highs will climb from the low 80s on Sunday to as high as 88°F by Tuesday in cities including Orlando, Daytona, and Fort Pierce. Morning lows will range from the low 50s to mid-60s, offering mild starts ahead of warmer afternoons. A moderate rip current risk is in effect daily through Thursday, with beachgoers urged to swim near lifeguards and avoid entering the ocean alone.

Fire weather concerns are also elevated due to persistent dry conditions, low humidity, and breezy inland winds. Although rain chances remain near 10% across the board, the dry spell raises the potential for brush fires, especially in open or grassy areas.

Melbourne, Daytona Beach, and other coastal communities will experience sunny skies with only minor cloud coverage by midweek. Residents are advised to avoid outdoor burning and follow local fire safety guidelines.

The heat will slightly dip by Wednesday before rebounding into the mid-80s Thursday. Officials encourage residents to stay hydrated and check local surf advisories.
