According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, 75-year-old Daniel J. Dorn was taken into custody on Wednesday, August 28, following a report from the Village of Pawling Mayor’s Office. Officials said the initial report, received on Sunday, August 25, involved someone allegedly exposing themselves to women and young girls.

An investigation was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office’s Detective and Patrol Bureaus, which led to Dorn’s arrest. He is accused of intentionally exposing his private parts in a public space in the Village of Pawling.

Dorn has been charged with public lewdness, a misdemeanor. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket to return to Village of Pawling Court on Monday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m.
