The defendant allegedly continued fleeing southbound on Interstate 355, reaching speeds near 85 mph as officers followed with emergency lights activated. Authorities further allege Burgett exited onto North Avenue, weaving through traffic at a high rate of speed before losing control of the moped and crashing into a passing vehicle.
