Wheaton, IL — Cantigny Park and The North West Territory Alliance are bringing history to life with a Revolutionary War Reenactment event on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This two-day event invites visitors to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the 18th century, offering a unique opportunity to experience camp life, watch battle reenactments, and explore various historical displays.
According to the organizers, attendees can enjoy an authentic historical atmosphere complete with period costumes, weapon demonstrations, and educational presentations. The event also features food vendors offering a variety of options for purchase, ensuring a full day of fun for families.
A special attraction for Scouts includes an Open House where groups can participate in a self-guided colonial eye spy activity inspired by the Culper Spy Ring. Scouts who complete the activity will earn a Revolutionary War Day fun patch, making the event an educational and rewarding experience.
