Glen Ellyn, IL – Chicken Salad Chick is officially opening its newest Chicagoland location today in Glen Ellyn, offering residents a week of giveaways, specials and the chance to win free chicken salad for an entire year. The restaurant, located at 293 Roosevelt Road, opens its doors at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday with major turnout expected.

According to Chicken Salad Chick, the first 100 guests in line during Tuesday’s grand opening will receive free chicken salad for a year. The first person in line will qualify for one large Quick Chick every week for 12 months, while the next 99 guests will receive one large Quick Chick per month for a year. Guests must purchase an entrée and download the brand’s mobile app to qualify.

The celebration continues throughout the week with daily giveaways:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 19: First 50 guests to purchase an entrée with two sides receive a free 20-ounce engraved Chick Tumbler.
  • Thursday, Nov. 20: First 50 guests to buy two Large Quick Chicks get a free Large Chick Cooler.
  • Friday, Nov. 21: First 50 guests purchasing an entrée with two sides receive a free teal and red Chick Tote Bag.
  • Saturday, Nov. 22: First 100 guests making a purchase earn a free Large Quick Chick on a future visit.

The Glen Ellyn location is owned and operated by Kim and Garrett Seaman of Fox Valley Chick, who also run the Batavia Chicken Salad Chick. The partners say they are committed to offering made-from-scratch food and Southern hospitality at their second suburban location.

The restaurant features dine-in service, drive-thru, curbside pickup, take-out, delivery and catering. As part of its opening events, the team is raising funds for Phil’s Friends, a nonprofit supporting individuals affected by cancer.

Chicken Salad Chick Glen Ellyn will operate Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
