DuPage County, Illinois — The DuPage Children’s Museum (DCM) shared in a Facebook post today that they earned two $6,000 grants through PNC’s Grow Up Great Grant program.
The post said that PNC employees volunteered with DCM through the Grow Up Great Grant program. The two grants received are in support of early learning. PNC Bank runs Grow Up Great to support children from birth to age five in educational experiences that help bring success in school and life, the PNC website says. This program is a $500 million, multi-year, bilingual initiative that began in 2004.
DCM said the PNC employees helped clean nearly 1,000 blocks and assembled hundreds of STEM learning kits. DCM thanked the volunteers and PNC for the grant support since the Museum is a non-profit organization that relies on donations.
