Duluth, MN – Trick-or-treaters in northern Minnesota will face a chilly Halloween evening as temperatures tumble from the 40s into the 30s, with a few light rain or snow showers possible.

According to the US National Weather Service Duluth, skies will stay mostly cloudy throughout the evening, with scattered showers developing in parts of the Arrowhead region and along the North Shore. No snow accumulation is expected, but light flakes could mix in late tonight.

Temperatures will begin around 43–46°F at 4 p.m., falling into the 30s by 8–9 p.m. and near freezing overnight. Locations such as Duluth, Ely, and Grand Rapids are expected to see the coldest readings, with breezy northwest winds adding an extra chill.

Despite the cool and damp setup, forecasters say most areas will remain dry enough for evening activities. Costumes with layers or light jackets are recommended for a comfortable night out.
