Duluth, MN – Light snow will continue across parts of northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin today, mainly south of U.S. Highway 2, according to the National Weather Service in Duluth.

A second round of snow is moving through the area this morning into the early afternoon, with the highest chances for accumulation around Hayward and Siren. Most locations will see less than one inch of new snow, though isolated spots could pick up slightly higher amounts where bands persist.

Temperatures will hover in the 20s and low 30s, and while snow totals are expected to remain light, slick roads may develop, especially during the morning commute or on untreated surfaces. Snow is expected to taper off by evening as drier air moves in.

No major accumulations are forecast for the weekend, but forecasters advise residents to use caution while driving and stay updated on any short-term advisories for changing road conditions.
