Duluth, MN – The National Weather Service in Duluth reports that a slow-moving low-pressure system will bring several days of cloudy, cool, and windy conditions to northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin early this week.
According to the National Weather Service, rain chances will increase Monday and continue through Wednesday, with totals ranging from a quarter inch to around one inch possible across parts of the Arrowhead and northwestern Wisconsin. Winds will shift from the south Monday to the northwest by midweek, with gusts of 15 to 30 mph expected Tuesday.
Temperatures will remain below normal, with highs in the low to mid-40s Tuesday before gradually warming late in the week. Conditions will stay mostly cloudy through Wednesday before a drier pattern returns Thursday into Friday.
Forecasters note that the combination of wind and rain could make for a chilly and damp start to the workweek, especially for commuters in Duluth, Hibbing, and Superior.
