Dodge County, WI – A 22-year-old Beaver Dam man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash in Dodge County, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened around 2:04 p.m. on County Highway A, just south of County Highway S in the town of Oak Grove. Officials said the man was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control after passing multiple vehicles.

According to investigators, the motorcycle left the roadway, struck a culvert, and went airborne. The rider, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and struck a tree. The bike continued forward, eventually coming to rest against a residence. No one inside the home was injured.

The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital. Deputies said he was also arrested for suspicion of impairment.

Multiple emergency crews responded, including the Juneau Fire Department, Juneau EMS, Horicon Fire Department, Horicon EMS, Beaver Dam EMS, and Flight for Life.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team is continuing to investigate. Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt said updates will be provided as more details become available.
