Dodge County, WI – A 19-year-old woman from De Pere was arrested Thursday afternoon after a series of police pursuits spanning three Wisconsin counties, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
The chase began around 1:43 p.m. on November 6, when a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper in Winnebago County initiated a pursuit that continued into Fond du Lac County before crossing into Dodge County. Deputies said the suspect vehicle was later spotted near Juneau and Beaver Dam before fleeing south toward Reeseville, where officers ultimately took the occupants into custody.
According to Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt, deputies deployed stop sticks during the pursuit, but the driver allegedly evaded them in a reckless manner, nearly striking a detective. The department received a tip from a Reeseville resident who spotted the vehicle in a trailer court, leading deputies to locate and arrest the suspects shortly after.
Authorities identified the driver as Isabella Bomske, 19, of De Pere. She was arrested for reckless endangerment of safety and operating without a valid driver’s license. Additional charges may follow from other counties involved in the pursuit.
No injuries were reported. Sheriff Schmidt thanked the citizens who assisted in locating the suspect and emphasized that those who endanger law enforcement or the public will be held accountable.
