KANKAKEE, IL — This December, the heart of Kankakee will transform into a festive paradise as the Community Arts Council of Kankakee County and the Kankakee County Historical Society present the enchanting “Miracle on 8th: A Kris Kringle Market.”
Set against the backdrop of the Kankakee County Museum at 801 South 8th Avenue, the event is slated for Saturday, December 9th, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
The seasonal festivities promise an array of activities that cater to the young and the young at heart. Revelers can look forward to traditional games, holiday crafts, live music, and an opportunity to mingle with beloved winter characters. In the spirit of holiday gifting, the market will feature a selection of unique handmade items perfect for those special someones.
Adding to the yuletide cheer, attendees can indulge in warm s’mores, sip on hot chocolate, and partake in the 45th Annual Gallery of Trees, where the public is invited to cast their votes for their favorite arboreal decoration.
