Carmel, IN – Police on patrol near E 96th Street and Meridian Street encountered a disabled vehicle Wednesday, leading to two arrests.

According to the Carmel Police Department, officers noticed the odor of marijuana and discovered a stolen handgun converted to a machine gun, marijuana, and $3,620 in cash. 

An adult from Indianapolis and a juvenile from Pendleton face charges including possession of a machine gun, dangerous possession of a firearm, unlawful carrying of a handgun, and possession of marijuana.
