Dickson, TN – The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office has kicked off its annual Toy Patrol campaign, now accepting donations to help local children in need this holiday season.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, donations can be dropped off at their Charlotte headquarters and the Dickson County EMS office located at 284 Cowan Road in Dickson. Deputies are collecting new, unwrapped toys, coats of all sizes, gloves, and hats to distribute to families ahead of Christmas.
The department hopes to serve at least 300 children this year, making community participation more important than ever. “We need your help to meet our goal,” the post read.
The annual Toy Patrol event will take place on Sunday, December 14, providing gifts and winter essentials to children throughout the county.
Residents are encouraged to contribute by donating early to ensure all items are sorted and delivered in time for the holidays.
For more information, community members can contact Capt. Caruthers at 615-740-4843.
