DFW Weather: Highs Near 90°F Expected Through Friday

Fort Worth, TX – North and Central Texas will stay under a warm and dry pattern this week, with little to no rain expected, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Fort Worth. Temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 80s to low 90s through Friday, keeping outdoor conditions hot for mid-October.

According to the NWS update issued Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, highs across North Texas will range between 87°F and 92°F, while overnight lows fall to the upper 50s and mid-60s. Central Texas will see similar conditions, with daytime highs reaching 90°F and nighttime lows near 60°F.

Forecasters note that skies will remain mostly sunny, except for a few clouds possible Thursday. The continued dry weather follows a stretch of above-average temperatures across the Dallas–Fort Worth and Waco regions.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions during outdoor activities, as heat and low humidity may persist through the week. The next significant rain chance is not expected until late next weekend.
