Detroit, MI – Southeast Michigan begins the day under cloudy skies, with temperatures climbing steadily from this morning until late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac office. Forecasters expect a mild day overall, with highs ranging between 46 and 50 degrees across the region.

According to the National Weather Service, morning lows between 25 and 30 degrees have given way to a gray but seasonably warm Thursday. No precipitation is expected, and winds should remain light throughout the day. Cloud cover remains the dominant feature until evening, when skies may begin to break in spots.

The forecast shows temperatures staying mild through Friday, with highs reaching 49 to 54 degrees and lows remaining in the mid-30s to around 40 degrees. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected to continue before a slight pattern shift on Saturday.

Saturday brings highs between 43 and 46 degrees with partly sunny skies, offering a brighter start to the weekend. Temperatures dip into the mid-20s to around 30 degrees overnight.

Sunday appears to be the warmest day in the extended outlook. Forecast highs land between 52 and 55 degrees, with mostly sunny and mild conditions across metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, and surrounding communities. Light winds and stable temperatures could make it one of the most comfortable days of the week.

Monday closes out the period with highs around 49 to 52 degrees and lows between 29 and 34 degrees, with another round of partly sunny skies expected.

Residents planning outdoor activities can expect a generally quiet and mild stretch of weather through early next week.
